In the winter of 2005 our little farm, nestled in the beautiful North Central Mountains of Wellsboro, Pa was established. My husband and I both came from a metropolitan area and wanted to begin a simpler lifestyle. We love animals and since Vince was raised on a farm as a child, we decided to purchase a few chickens for a family supply of fresh eggs. We also purchased a few Nubian Dairy goats as 4H projects for our children.
It didn’t take long before the kids and I fell in love with the Nubians. We decided in 2006 to raise both Nubian and Saanen Dairy Goats. We enjoy the goats’ unique personalities and could spend hours just sitting in the pasture with them. They are as affectionate and fun to be around as our dogs are and quickly became part of the family. After having too much on milk on hand, I was introduced to the fine art of soap making using goat’s milk and quickly became hooked. They are now sold at craft fairs, the farm website, farmers markets, many gift and craft shops and of course at the farm.
Our farm is blessed with 34 dairy goats (currently but always seems to be growing), one duck, 2 very spoiled springer dogs, 3 cats, and one crazy bird named Santino. For a bunch of animal lovers…this is heaven! Our focus is to raise quality Nubians and Saanens that do well both in the show ring and on the milk stand. We also raise market pigs and market lambs for your table.
Our farm products range from goats’ milk soaps, handmade quilts, knit and crochet crafts, and farm raised meats (pork and lamb). We are proud to be a registered farm with Pa Dept. of Agriculture as one of their PA Preferred Farms.
Stay and browse my blog and our farm website. Like our farm, our website and blog are constant work in progress, so check back regularly. You will quickly learn why we love the mountains, our farm, and all of our animals.

Amy, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss.I cried along with you while reading your blog on each one of your babies.I know the feeling, I can’t stand when I loose one of my babies, I even cry when I sell them.Their part of us.I want to tell you I enjoy reading your stories, I feel like I know you, I think we could be good friends, we have so much in common. Maybe some day we’ll meet. I was hoping to save up enough money to buy one of your boys but I’m saving up for our trip to Alaska to see my son in the Air Force so maybe next year. How is your son doing? When you go for his graduation you give him a big hug for me and tell him I too am very proud of him. It takes a real man or woman to stand up and serve our country.God Bless you all, Susie
